a people pleaser?

For different reasons, some of us struggle with trying to please people, consciously or not, and trying to fix problems to find a sense of purpose or value for ourselves. I find myself in a profession based on some aspects of these two things probably because I made decisions (intentional and not) to incorporate these two things into my work, as well as my personal life.

However, I find myself at a crossroad in my personal and professional journey: pursuing things I cannot fix and people who I cannot please is no longer sustainable. Responsibilities to true priorities (my children, family, my health), the global pandemic, turmoil in our nation, uncertainty, and stress all have brought me to this breaking point, essentially.

Join me in my daily self-care training. Be well, do your best, and forget the rest, moving onward and upward with only those who support and love you.
